Pale straw colour. At room temperature there is a very faint aroma of warm rice with a hint of toffee. The flavour is even and smooth with slightly astringent aftertaste. At 50˚C the astringency is more marked and the flavour is more uniform but it is quite sharp. At 40˚C this sake is more mellow, the flavour is even and not sharp.
